Climate-Resilient Farming — Bhutan
A two-day workshop in Bangkok for agricultural extension officers from Bhutan's Ministry of Agriculture, on climate-resilient farming.
I facilitated a two-day workshop in Bangkok for agricultural extension officers from the Ministry of Agriculture of Bhutan, on climate-resilient farming practices.
The two days mixed formats — a problem-solving exercise, a policy lab, and presentations, including one on the risks and opportunities around coffee. My role was both to facilitate the sessions and to present.
Working with people who advise farmers and shape agricultural policy at a national level was a privilege, and a reminder that the same ecological thinking scales from a single rooftop up to a country's food system.
